We value your personal information. Lord Street Living is managed by Sefton Council who collect, and process personal information submitted by website users via online enquiry forms. Information is collected to enable contact with enquirers, and this is processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation. We will only gather the minimum information necessary, and it will be adequately protected and shared with other agencies only where the law permits. Finally, it will be destroyed as soon as it is no longer required.
What information we collect and how it will be used.
We collect your name, contact information including email address, and your Company (if relevant) on the Contact form. This information enables us to contact you to discuss the Lord Street Living project further and respond to enquiries.
If you wish to submit an article for the ‘News and Insights’ section, your name will be published with the article.
If you wish to advertise your property on the Lord Street Living website, the property address will be advertised along with a brief description of the property and photographs you submit. Your personal contact details will not be visible on the website and enquirers will be directed to contact the Project Administrator.
We collect statistical information about visits to the website and numbers of participants and properties signed up to the project. No personal information will be shared with project funders without your express permission.
Sharing your personal information with other parties and Council Departments.
We collect your personal information to enable Project Officers to contact you to answer your queries submitted on the Lord Street Living website. Your permission will be sought to share your personal information when you wish to enter negotiations with other parties who have also signed up to the Lord Street Living project. Your permission will be sought to share information (including photographs) on your property when you wish to promote your property on www.Lordstreetliving.org. Your permission will be sought to share your personal information with other Sefton Council departments if you request this during discussion with Lord Street Living Project Officers.
Information you submit when visiting Sefton Council’s website will be subject to their broader Privacy Policy which can be viewed here.
Information you submit when visiting third party websites will be subject to the privacy policy associated with and available on, that website.
Sharing without your knowledge
In certain rare and limited circumstances, the Lord Street Living, on behalf of the Council is permitted to share your personal data without your knowledge. This is principally where the information is needed for:
- the prevention and detection of a crime including fraud.
- the apprehension or prosecution of offenders.
- the assessment or collection of tax or duty.
The Council will still refuse to release personal information if it feels the request is not compliant with the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation, or if it determines the request is not fair or lawful.
